A commercial-grade hand-launched fixed-wing UAV for surveillance, oil pipeline monitoring, infrastructure inspection, mapping and modular AI-ready payloads.
The UHUAV Hand-Launched Fixed-Wing UAV is designed for teams that require fast deployment, compact transportation and efficient aerial coverage without relying on a runway or dedicated launch system. With a 1,130 mm wingspan, an all-up weight range of 1,000–2,500 g and a swept-wing pusher configuration, the platform combines portability with efficient fixed-wing flight performance.
Depending on its mission configuration, the aircraft can operate as a commercial-grade security UAV, fixed-wing reconnaissance UAV or surveillance-reconnaissance UAV. The rear-mounted pusher propeller keeps the forward section available for cameras, sensors and mission-specific electronics while providing an unobstructed forward field of view.
For operators requiring an aerial surveillance and monitoring UAV for oil pipeline routes, fixed-wing efficiency provides a significant operational advantage. The aircraft’s optimal cruise speed of 70–90 km/h supports efficient coverage of pipelines, roads, power corridors, railways, borders and other extended infrastructure.
The platform can support right-of-way documentation, route mapping, perimeter observation, asset monitoring and the collection of geo-referenced visual data. It can also operate as the airborne component of larger UAV surveillance systems incorporating ground control, telemetry, mission planning and data-analysis equipment.

This platform supports UAV solutions for infrastructure inspection across industrial sites, energy facilities, solar farms, construction areas and transportation corridors.
For organizations looking for a UAV system for inspection of industrial facilities, the aircraft is particularly suitable for site-wide mapping, perimeter patrols, roof surveys and corridor-based inspection. Its fixed-wing configuration is optimized for covering large areas rather than stationary close-hover inspection.
Mission routes, sensors, communication links and data-processing workflows can be configured according to the dimensions of the facility and the inspection objectives.
The removable nose and detachable wings provide a flexible architecture for mission-specific integration. The nose is secured using four M3 screws and can be exchanged between missions, while the wings use a durable two-screw retention system for repeated assembly and transportation.
A standard nose configuration can accommodate a 19 × 19 mm FPV camera and video transmitter. A clean nose configuration is also available for integrating alternative cameras, sensors and electronic equipment.
UHUAV can develop custom enclosures for unmanned aerial vehicles based on payload dimensions, field of view, cooling, antenna placement, weight distribution and environmental requirements. Interchangeable nose modules allow the aircraft to function as a multi-payload UAV platform, with different sensor packages selected according to each mission.

When combined with suitable imaging sensors, onboard processing hardware and mission software, the platform can be configured as an AI surveillance UAV.
Project-specific capabilities may include object detection, target tracking, geo-referenced observations, route analysis and operator alerts. Available AI functions depend on the selected camera, onboard computer, communications system, trained model and operational requirements.
This modular approach allows the same airframe to support conventional observation missions or more advanced AI-assisted surveillance workflows.
The swept-wing geometry has been optimized through aerodynamic analysis and flight testing. The aircraft uses a Selig S5020 airfoil, a 31 dm² wing area and an aspect ratio of 3.7 to provide stable and efficient forward flight.
With the reference motor, propeller and 4S power system, level flight can be maintained at approximately 40% power with an average current consumption of around 5 A. The maximum recommended battery configuration is 4S4P 14 Ah, supporting nearly three hours of flight under suitable reference conditions.
Actual endurance depends on payload weight, battery type and condition, wind, temperature, flight speed, mission profile and communication equipment.
The compact, modular airframe is suitable for teams that need to transport and prepare the UAV quickly. Detachable wings and a removable nose reduce its transport volume, while hand launching eliminates the requirement for a runway or catapult.
